My granddaughter loved this thing. She was excited that it had a flap so that she didn't have to take it off to use the restroom. She came up to me a week after I got it for her and excitedly told me: "The butt flap works perfectly."

Product good. Kid loves it. Size is correct. SHIPPING TOOK OVER 30 DAYS. 3 different shippers involved. Only response by seller was giving me the final USPS tracking number. Same response contacted twice. Arrived late missed Christmas.

While this item both looks and feels good, be prepared for repairs and TLC if used more than once or twice.As other reviewers have noted, on the plus side, this is an adorable costume, the fabric is soft and fairly durable, more so than typical Halloween costumes now sold. I've been told its comfortable, and it's true to fit. It's also quite warm worn over clothes.On the down side, it's not great for everyday use as jammies unless you plan to break out your sewing kit for repairs. You'll probably have to do so anyway, for a kid bouncing around in this costume, as most kids will. However, I have paid more for licensed costumes which ripped apart quickly with normal use, and had to repair those (including fabric tears from normal use) multiple times.Within 3 days of using this as both a costume and pajamas, however, the tail and armpit cross seam ripped open. When I pulled on the tail thread to tighten it so I could tie off the loose thread to mend the costume, the entire thread pulled out, opening the whole length of the tail. It took about 30 minutes to do both repairs by hand, as the tail could not be re-sewn on a machine.Children will also probably need help with the buttons, as the buttons are small and the button holes are very tight.

My 10 year old literally lived in these for most of Christmas break. They are soft and sooo cute. They fit a tad large. I only gave 4 stars because there is a small hole song one of the seems I will need to repair.
