Step 1
Drill 1 inch from the bottom of any bucket. The nipples should sit chest to beak level of your poultry. Place a object underneath to achieve this.
Step 2
Insert nipple in to drilled hole. Insure rubber ring is placed outside the bucket to avoid leaks. Rubber ring should NOT be inside the bucket.
Step 3
Rotate the wing nut until the nipple is firmly in place. Do not over tighten or under tighten.
Step 4
Use the installation tool to screw the nipple in to the bucket.

They leak. Do not buy. Get the more expensive ones. There’s seem to be cheaply made.

Just the job easy to fit drill included, wing nuts a bit weak don't tighten down too much, hopefully will replace mine with brass when l find thread size, but very good product.

Die Nippeltränken funktionieren grundsätzlich sehr gut und die Hühner haben die Funktionsweise sofort begriffen. Leider muß man deutlich mehr Nippel bestellen als man braucht da einige von vorneherein undicht sind. Bei mir waren es ca. 30% . Da das Produkt grundsätzlich günstig ist und ich sie dringend brauchte, habe ich sie behalten. Die intakten Nippel tun inzwischen seit ca 2 Monaten problemlos ihren Dienst.

I had high hopes for these chicken waterer nipples, but they’ve been a complete disappointment. Despite carefully following the instructions—drilling at the correct height and ensuring the rubber seal was on the outside of the bucket—these nipples leak badly from the center metal part. The water just drips constantly, defeating the purpose of reducing waste. I tried reinstalling a few times to no avail.The included drill bit and tools are nice, but that doesn’t matter if the product doesn’t work as intended. I would not recommend these for anyone looking for a reliable solution. Save yourself the frustration and look for a better option.

I have replaced all of the cup type waterers I had with these nipple type waterers. My birds were able to learn how to use these pretty quickly and they aren't constantly being filled with crud like the cups were. Switching to these has cut the amount of time I spend on water maintenance in half and they seem to waste less water.

These are little pieces (a little awkward) that have to be installed in a freshwater container that comes with its own drill bit for the perfect size installation. Lacking is an installation instruction page. Still, once installed, this will provide a clean, no mess, no waste watering system for the poultry. This will provide a safe, clean water system.
