Air tool fittings are the components in the Air pressure system that play the roles of connection, control, reversal, diversion, sealing, and support.
Note that the Industrial Universal Coupling are US NPT standard threads with a 60 degree taper.
Product introduction：

These have a manual lock with use of a safety pin, which prevents any accidental decoupling like can happen with Milton type G or similar style quick couplers. Do note that these are only rated for 150psi. That's fine for what I will use them for (things like an IR chipping hammer, etc). These are nice in that you can have one size of supple hose fitting and other sizes of whip hoses on the tools, depending on the use.

I had to use a wrench to get them to lock, but once locked, they stay locked. The first thread on one of the fittings arrived a little dinged up, but it should clean up easily. Good tight seal, no leaks.

I needed these to transition from the iron air hose fitting on a jackhammer to a compressor and didn't have time to go get a hose specially made at the shop with a crimper. These worked great by letting me transition to standard pipe fittings which are easy and common enough that I had plenty around my garage. As long as you use pipe dope or teflon of the appropriate type (the yellow gas type teflon works) when attaching to the pipe fitting, these shouldn't leak for you. Or at least they haven't leaked for me yet. Most importantly, they fit on to the iron air hose fitting of my hose easily and smoothly. There wasn't any drama or anything to get them to fit so I can recommend these as a great alternative to getting crimped hoses custom made.

These are a very standard hose fitting. Nothing exciting.......... just as you would want for your large compressor.
