My son is mysteriously started getting into instruments. He ordered this randomly with his allowance money and when it came in the mail I was quite surprised. My son mentioned that it only has two octaves or something like that. I don't really know what that means but he seemed really pleased with this instrument. When he did play the instrument, it made a really beautiful sound that seemed really peaceful and then like. It reminded me of those spa like music that have like almost a Native American flute tune to it. The instrument seemed really easy and fun to play, and it seemed to be a really high quality instrument with high functionality. It appears that the top part of the instrument is like a dried gourd of some kind and maybe the flute portion is more like bamboo but it makes an extremely beautiful sound. I was quite surprised at the price of this item because it looks very intricate and handmade and high quality. Even myself, not knowing much about instruments, could tell that this is something that was made really carefully and with a lot of love. It does come with his own unique shaped case. I have nothing bad to say about this because it makes really beautiful music.

The flute works. but it is cheaply made. Definitely a beginner flute, ha ha.

One of the pipes is missing the stopper. The pipe is also solid in the middle. I wasn't expecting much but this is not even a functional instrument.
