This is one of those products you unquestionably need to have standing by for an emergency, but hope you never have to actually use. And now that I have had a chance to closely inspect this particular device, I will say that it does seem to be made well. It feels beefy and sturdy enough to do the job it was designed to do without failing due to shoddy construction. So, I am comforted by the fact that I now have this device as a backup if two or three tries of the Heimlich Maneuver fails to get the job done.If you have any questions about this AmzBoom choking rescue device, please feel free to ask, and I'll try my best to answer. The Good:* Very strong suction* Masks create a tight seal to ensure the suction is focused on the mouth to clear the blockage from the throat* Stupid easy to use* Washable and reusable* Generally, very inexpensive insurance ($23.90 at time of review), especially if you are not confident performing the Heimlich maneuver or are concerned that you might cause additional injury to the very young or very old.The Meh:* Potentially the price. The price at time of review was 60% off.The Bad:* NothingThe Verdict:Recommend as a backup or alternative to other means of clearing the windpipe of someone who is choking. It's well constructed, easy to use and it's always good to have a backup.

The AmzBoom is very similar to the higher priced LifeVac and it's a great product. It's the type of product that's good to have in case of an emergency where you can easily have available if someone is choking. The AmzBoom choking rescue device has 3 mask sizes and is very easy to use. Essentially you put the appropriate mask size on, push and then pull to dislodge whatever is causing someone to choke. I have not used this product in an emergency and hope that I'll never have to but I feel good knowing that I have it just in case. This is a must have product to save the life of both children and adults if their airways are obstructed. Overall, I think it's a high quality product.

We are so glad to have this choking rescue device, not only for the several little ones we have, but in case of an emergency for someone of any age. comes with very clear instructions on how to use. Has both an Adult mask and child size mask for use. Comes with a convenient carry case. We keep this one in the house but i'm thinking of getting another to keep in the car

Fortunately, I have not had a need to use this in a real emergency situation. This product is very similar to others on the market. It's good to have in case of an emergency, but make sure you understand how to use it before you need it. The device comes with 3 mask sizes and is easy to use. Easy to clean and have ready.

I haven't had to use this emergency airway kit yet, but just knowing it's there gives me a huge sense of relief. It comes with everything you might need in a choking emergency, and it seems really easy to use. The suction device looks simple and effective, and I like that it has both kids' and adults' masks, making it useful for the whole family. The instructions are straightforward, so I feel confident I’d be able to use it if needed

I've been eyeing one of these devices for a long time and just now went with this brand. I've watched the videos and I understand how it works and how to use it, but I still hope I never end up having to use it on anyone! Seems like a good solution if you have people in your house who are frequently gagging on things.
