I was expecting this to be a bit fluffier however I used it under and around my Christmas village houses and it still did the trick of giving that fake snow look regardless.

I've been using this to make a Hogwarts Great Hall-inspired craft along with another bag of cotton, and it's working really well. It sticks well with spray glue, it doesn't have little fluffies that come off, and it's great for crafting.

My wife loves collecting Santas and we like to set them up every year in front of the fireplace. This year, we wanted to give a "Snow" effect and got the Fake Snow cotton. It is literally a bag of fluffy cotton. The texture is lite and it is easy to pull apart and lay down right where we need it. We laid it over LED Christmas lights for a colorful misty effect. When Christmas was over, we gathered it all up and put back into the bag for next year. We should be able to use this for several years. It worked well for us.

We adopted 3 new kittens this year, and they have a blast jumping on low-level ledges, where our holiday village usually is set up. This year, we decided to add a long piece of wood to the tops of our 2 living room bookshelves and set up our village high up. This snow was perfect for creating the stage for our set up. It's easy to roll out, and set up around the houses, and it was exactly what we were looking for to create the illusion of snow. We have collected holiday houses for 20+ years, and the snow provided the finishing touch for the village. It looks fantastic and the kitties don't even know it's there. It was so easy and exactly what were seeking to cover the long wood board. It provides that white poofy holiday magic we needed for our multi-decade holiday village. Well worth it for the beautiful effect!

I was so worried when I received the package that there wouldn't be enough. OH BOY was I wrong! It expanded to 5x the size as the package and was PLENTY of snow for what I needed. It is extremely soft and fluffy and almost looks like a cloud more than snow, but with some manipulation is perfect for my Christmas village.

I've used paper towels or white fabric under things at Christmas, but I gotta tell you, that's very unsatisfactory! I've looked at fake snow in the past. I even collected the cotton from medicine bottles and used it. Again, not very satisfactory. When I saw this artificial snow I decided to give it a try.60+ years ago my sister and I helped my mom make angels for decorations. We were too poor to actually buy decorations, so we made our own. I still have those angels! Well, 5 of them, anyway. I will be using this artificial snow to compliment the arrangement of 15" and 8" angels. I can't wait! I also 3D printed some Scandinavian houses from the town of Longyearben 4 years ago, and I plan to use this artificial snow to give them a base befitting the season. One thing I really like is that this artificial snow has been treated with a fire retardant! I burned down half of my first home in 1975. That got to me. With this I don't have the worry of repeating that disaster! This fake snow is soft and silky, and it looks great. I'm really glad I decided to try it!It isn't time yet to put out decorations. I will decorate the house for Christmas in a week or 10 days in time for our big family gathering for Thanksgiving. I will revisit this review then to upload pictures showing the snow and decorations.Later... For our family Thanksgiving dinner I dolled up the house. I have uploaded pictures to show how good this fake snow does with actual decorations. They are angels I helped my mom make in 1956. I hope you like them!
