My intention was to sprinkle this around some vintage Gurley Choirboy Christmas candles that sit on a table near our front door. It didn't work, because the "snow" is very lightweight, and every time the door opens or closes, the snow blows around and gets all over the floor. I think it would be fine for a craft project where it is glued down, or even placed in a bowl, but it just didn't work out for what I had in mind.

I purchased this "snow" to fill Christmas ornaments. It is really lovely and looks and sparkles like real snow. My only issue with it is that there is a fair amount of fine powder in it and it's a bit dusty. When filling ornaments, some of the fine powder clings to the sides of the ornaments causing a light film on the inside of the ornament. To remedy this I had to put the snow through a strainer to sift out the powder before using it. My guess is that any fake snow would have this same issue.

Have never used faux snow so please keep in mind I have no way to compare to other products. Repurposed our old christmas tree (made it smaller and thinner) did not want to throw away what was cutoff so I made mini trees from the scraps. I love flocked trees but our large one is not ,so thought I could do these. Watched alot of videos and process seemed simple but messy if not approached properly, think glitter. I placed the tree in a round dishpan to control and catch what didnt stick. This worked perfectly. I basically brushed on glue where I wanted snow and then sprinkled it on. After drying I did go back and reapplied where I wanted a thicker application. Turned upside down and shook gently to remove loose snow. Let dry. Did have a very small amount off "droppage for a couple of days after but easily cleaned up. I ordered this because i need such a small amount. This is a fine ? texture (alittle heavier than salt grains) so I dont think it would look right on a large product unless you are using it to fill in a previous area that has maybe thinned. I believe a larger flake would look odd for a 20 inch tree, so in all it was great for my application.

I mixed foam circles, glitter and confetti snowflakes to create a shimmery festive looking snow mixture for shaker ornaments. It wasn't so fine that it stuck to literally everything but fine enough to resemble snow. Very happy with my purchase.
