I liked everything about it was easy to put the tree up in it. It held very well made for a good Christmas tree during the season.

Not as sturdy as I had hoped. Kept loosing its balance. bolts would not screw in to hold the tree

This is a pretty good, but basic stand. It's not as sturdy as some, and I don't think I'd put an 8 foot tree on it. I'm using it for a four foot tree, and it's fine for that. It will work best on level, solid ground, like hardwood or tile. It's not great on carpet. Might be worth paying a bit more for a better stand if you expect to be using it for several years.
