Genuine part as advertised so the fit and finish is what you would expect from a factory part.

Hardest part of replacing this part is taking the shifter knob off. A soft hammer and a wrench just larger than the shifter to pound it up makes quick work... put some electrical tape where the wrench is to avoid scratching the shifter shaft

New its a little stiff. Likes to kick out 1st 3rd and 5th gear. Im working on streching it out a bit. Other than that perfect fit.

While this product is certainly the real deal, it's not something you would be expecting to replace. Then there is the fun of removing the shifter knob (quick work if you use a strap wrench) and a whole lot of bad information out there on the interwebs. Used a third party bezel to complete the project and I don't think I'll need to worry about it again.

Installed on my 2007 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. After getting the shift knob off(wiggle and pull, plus some crusing) it was all down hill.
