Pros: This thing puts out a lot of heat. We went through about 5 gallons of diesel a week during the dead of winter. Compared to the 8-10 gallons of more expensive propane that the propane heater was taking before installing the diesel heater. During Utah's second and third winters (because the weather can be bi-polar in Utah) we are going through about five gallons every 2 and a half weeks running it mostly only at night and sometimes on a day that it snows.Cons: Maybe I just don't know how to work the settings right, but it does not stop automatically and can get too hot. As I have tried to set it at a certain place several times but it doesn't stop there and continues to heat. The thermostat plate is really soft and can be scratched easily.The heat level can be adjusted, but the buttons are backwards, so right is up and left is down, that took me some getting use to and I still confuse it because it's backwards on the screen🙃.If you're American, it's in Celsius so something like 22° C is about 72° F. I just keep thinking that it's a good way to learn the Celsius system🤷♀️.We love ours and have told people about it... now I have two different friends that ordered the same thing and both of them had problems with theirs, it wouldn't fire up etc.Mine has overheated one time in the last 4-5 months since we got it. I learned not to leave it on the highest setting for more than a few minutes.

It's fantastic to have the lcd readout remote to be able to know what the heater is doing when you are not right there looking at the controller

All good and works, it has been working fine in my camper van, and it can keep the van toasty warm in the coldest of weather.
