Bought these to replace hologen floods on my deck and yard. Was getting tired of replacing elements..20 W is definitely bright enough to see what you're doing. One. light replaced 2-100 W hallogens with better light output.

After having an all in one wallpack that died in just 1 year I wanted to use a light only to make replacement quick and easy should these LEDs go bad at some time. This puts out a lot of light and with a large finned heatsync it should last a long time.

I have purchased several of this style light for my home, my rental property and my sister's house and they are excellent. Very bright, easy to install and solid fixture that last a long time.

Good quality aluminum housings and they are easily adjustable. I mounted the pair under an eve out of the weather so I expect them to last quite a few years. They easily light up the ground 50 feet away! I checked the power consumption and mine are pulling just 23watts each. Works for me! No more wondering if there might be a skunk out there just waiting to hose down my little dog!

I needed a way to light up my back yard because our dog had hurt herself a couple of times running in the dark. Initially I tried a 55 watt LED floodlight with 3 pods that seems to be a popular choice but I didn’t like the 6500K color temperature. It was a terrible light quality. These are 5000K, use 20 watts each and are available in a 2-pack so I tried them and what a difference. Installation was easier and the light quality is more pleasing. With two separate units, I was able to mount them in different locations on the house and get better coverage. It helped that I have the soffit out for replacement which allowed me to easily extend the electrical circuit for the second light position. I expected to need 4 of these to get enough light but 2 (40 watts total) is providing plenty of light for our back yard which would be about 1/8 acre or 5500 square feet. I’m really happy with the quality too. They are compact and have a rugged well built feel. Time will tell if they hold up.
