Broke after 1 season of use on the boat. Just bought another simply because the holes match up and I don't like drilling holes in my Scarab.

Purchased this to replace an ANL fuse terminal in my solar array battery system. Terminals are too small to conduct that much power without heating. Put a temp gun on it and that was the hotspot in the system. Caused my BMS to shut down the battery system because of too much draw. Put ANL fuse block back in and no issues.

Have to read the fine print. There is a load side and a battery side. This necessitates mounting upside down unless you want to cross the wires. This is not a fuse or a circuit breaker. It relies on thermal load more than current. This means it will take time to open unlike a fuse or circuit breaker which trip immediately.

Using the circuit breaker about 1 foot from the battery for a car stereo, instead of a fuse, can save you money on fuses, and it can be turned off manually.
