I ordered this device as a backup for my EVGA XR1 Lite and Elgato HD60 X.This product does not capture from a Windows 11 PC. I even disabled HDCP on the video output and it still produces a black screen. I think this is beyond it not working with HDCP sources. The description is pretty broad on what this device does not support. I have no issues with the 2 above devices and they also do not support HDCP. I contacted the seller to ask about this and they replied saying I had returned the item and gotten a refund? I have this device in my hand. Upon me confirming that this is indeed not true. They replied "This product cannot capture any content from protected sources. ". That is not helpful at all. I would not expect much support from this seller if you have a problem with the product. At this price point, you would expect customer service to be more helpful. No where in the listing does it state that it will not work with a Windows 11 PC even with HDCP disabled. I have dealt with many companies about their products while in the Vine program, most of them do try to help make their product work for you. This one does not.

This 4k HDMI capture device is truely a stand alone system allowing you to capture HDMI source videos. A word of caution is the system can only capture No-prohibited videos. If that is not an obstacle for you then this is the right system. The unit comes with everything you need to get start including a remote and HDMI connection cord. I give this capture device a solid 4.5 Stars. (Good value buy)

This did work from taking home videos and recording them to make a digital copy. Found that quality does okay. It does states that you can capture video from PC but does not. Getting black screen, video was not copy right protected. Farly simple to connect and operate. This device is easier that connecting to a PC and running software but does not have the all the features and functionality like OBS software.

This device lets you record audio and video from a 4K HDMI cable to a Micro SD (TF) Card or Flash Drive. It can handle 512 gb Micro SD cards, 1 tb flash drives and 4 tb USB hard drives. It records at 30 frames per second in MP4 format. It records audio in MP3 format. It comes with the video capture box and a remote control. The video capture box has an HDMI passthrough in addition to an HDMI input, so you can record even as you play the video. There is also a 3.5 mm audio jack.Note that this honors copyright protection. I'm using it to record webinars and videoconferences for later reuse.

I took a gamble with this 4K recorder and it paid off! I own an older Canon HV40 miniDV tape video camera. The HV40 records onto miniDV tapes at a maximal 1920 x 1080i, 24 or 30fps resolution. Mini-DV tapes are all but non-existent now but the camera also had an HDMI port that was designed for video playback to a television. The ClearClick Video Capture Box claims it can record from non-copyright protected HDMI sources up to 4K 60 fps at a recording quality of 4K 30fps. So I got to thinking, if I can connect my HV40 to the ClearClick via the HDMI cable, not only could I transfer my old MiniDV tapes directly to a hard drive at near the original resolution but maybe I can even use my HV40 for videography with direct output to the Capture Box.After a little experimentation, I’m happy to report I can do both! I connected my camera via HDMI cable to the input on the ClearClick and while it recorded I also outputted to a computer monitor to see the image. The ClearClick has a USB 3.0 output port and I added my 1TB USB 3.0 hard drive to that port. The ClearClick automatically added a video file and recording quality was a very acceptable, close match to the original! Besides my Canon HV40, this ClearClick capture box should also work with the Canon HV20, HV30 and likely many other brand MiniDV camcorders that have an HDMI playback port. The ClearClick is primarily designed to record gaming and other non-protected HDMI materials and audio signals via a 3.5 mm cable. Recordings can be saved in the MP4 Format onto a USB Flash Drive (up to 1 TB), MicroSD Card (up to 512 GB), or USB Hard Drive (up to 4 TB). There is also a 3.5mm audio only input and recordings can also be created in the MP3 format. The unit comes with a handy remote control and directions for use. I actually set it up without using the directions as I found the unit was pretty intuitive to operate. But, the directions do provide explanations for other uses for the ClearClick and it's needed to better understand how to use the menu and options for setup and recording.Bottom Line: Handy HDMI recording box with nice features and a remote. I am very pleased with the quality of the output and the ease of use. I needed to supply my own external drive and monitor in order to use the remote and operate the menu. I give this device two thumbs up!

This 4K HD Video Capture Box has made recording video from my 4K HDMI sources incredibly easy. It captures both audio and video with excellent quality and saves the recordings directly to a USB flash drive or MicroSD card. The setup process was straightforward, and the device has worked flawlessly. A great solution for capturing gameplay, presentations, or any other content from 4K HDMI sources. (*Important Note:* The review acknowledges the device's limitation with content-protected sources, as stated in the product description).
