I had been waiting to write this review because I wanted to really make sure the product works. I am a mosquito magnet and I'm super allergic to them and for this reason, I go out of my way to avoid being outdoors on a summer evening. However, I have a dog and dogs have to go so there's no escaping it. The product works with these infused disks that you place in a pocket on the wristband. I've been using 2 of these bracelets at a time (and luckily it comes with 4 per package) on one arm and 1 leg. It's not the best fit on my ankles and may not fit most adults, but I have small ankles so I can get a inch of velcro fastened and it stays put for a short dog walk. All I can say is that the bugs hate the smell and you can actually see them clear away. It has a citronella odor and I actually find it quite pleasant, although it can be a bit strong indoors. And please be aware that dogs and cats don't enjoy the smell, so try and keep that in mind if you have to have to pick up your pet with a banded arm. The scented disks also contain geranium and peppermint oil which I know most bugs (including ticks) dislike as well. Mind you, this isn't going to protect you as well as DEET against ticks if you're headed into the woods, but for getting those flying gnats and biting mosquitos to leave you alone on a dog walk, these bracelets really do the job. You can get 6 replacement disks for about $10 from Amazon, though you might be able to buy the Cliganic essential oils and refresh the disk more economicallyyouself. I may try that when they stop working. I've been using for about 2 months and they are still doing their job, however, I do store the disks tightly wrapped in plastic when not in use so I can get some extra mileage out of them. The package comes with a total of 8 disks and I've only used 2 this summer so I have plenty to go. Definitely try these out for a pesticide and insect free experience outdoors.

The product has a very nice design and like the reusable option for less waste (compared to their one use bracelets). Unfortunately it did not prevent mosquito bites. I was very hopeful that this would be a great alternative to nasty spray solutions but no such luck. I put 3 bracelets on (each with their own repellent pellet). One on each arm and one my ankle. I was sitting outside for 30 minutes and had multiple bites on each limb wearing the bracelets. Another thing I found is that these bracelets will not fit most adults ankles, only wrists. I hate giving bad reviews but this is not worth the purchase.

went for a walk got bit 3 times within five minutes of putting this on>returned - thank goodness for refunds for many items appreciate that !

Bought this just for extra protection and ended up wearing it only and it worked! No bug bites!

Mosquitoes love me and I react severely to bites! After three hours in garden I came inside with no bites!

This is a pretty effective wristband and does keep the mosquitos away. I tried using just one and it wasn't that effective. But wearing both on each wrist did keep those little biters away. It works better when doing things like gardening than something like walking. I think its because the scent is more pungent when you are staying still. It lasts about two weeks per refill pellet. The first week is full strength, then it gradually declines. I think it works just fine for gardening but if you are more mobile, i think the spray will work better and this will be extra protection.

I have young kids in humid Florida weather where the mosquitos are big enough to carry you off, so I'm always looking for natural options to protect them when we go outside.I noticed a difference when they were wearing these versus not. It wasn't 100% protection, but it certainly helped. I also strapped one to the stroller to keep bugs away from the baby and it seemed to help.I noticed the biggest difference when I layered these with additional organic bug spray on their shoes/clothes. The two seemed to work well together and create a better shield.
