I have a 1979 Yamaha YZ400 that I was having clutch issues with. Main issue was not being able to find the parts due to the age of the bike. This cable did not say that it was compatible with a 1979 bike but I took the chance and what do you know. It fit perfect! No issues. And once properly adjusted the new cable solved my clutch issue. Ready to hit the dirt!
