The cable included in the kit is made of stainless steel with a strong PTFE coating, which means excellent durability and resistance to wear and tear. CUTTABLE SHIFT CABLE HOUSING
Included in the kit is a 4mm diameter cable housing with a total length of 2000mm. This housing is long enough to accommodate a variety of bike types and mounting needs. You can cut it to fit your bike size and configuration needs to ensure that the length of the housing fits perfectly.
VARIOUS COLOUR OPTIONS

Selection of the line should pay attention to the suitability.
Choose the right cable according to the original derailleur, frame, clamps and alignment to ensure the handling performance. It is recommended to match the oiling line with the inner line to achieve the best effect of complementing each other.
Shift and brake lines should not be used interchangeably
Distinguish between brake cables and shifter cables to ensure that they are not mixed when riding at high speeds and to improve safety.
Standardised Installation:
Use standardised and qualified accessories and professional tools for installation to
ensure that the cable ends will not come off easily.Avoid coating abrasion, use standard tools to cut off the cable tube, ensure the cable opening is rounded and not deformed, reduce friction.

Comes with ample inner cable but only half the outer. Odd. Works well and appears to be decent quality though.

I had gotten a bike from a friend that needed some TLC. Was looking for some low cost parts.Brought through Amazon with very quick delivery, (I live in rural Manitoba).I had to cut the cable tubes to make it work. (I used a cutting blade on my grinder, it did a very clean job). The kit comes with different types of adapters for the tube ends.Works great and looks good.

used it on an old three wheeler. the gear shift cable was frozen. replaced it using this kit and it worked great

I am impressed. The cable housing is very well made. I didn't realize cable housing had changed from the classic coiled metal under plastic to the new very strong cables that have steel wires running the length of the cable. It is very hard to cut. My wire cutters did nothing.I used my grinder cutting wheel.This kit includes the two actual steel cables to attach to the derailleurs. One is longer for the back. The length is 2 metres. It is enough for every rear derailleur but may not be enough for both depending on the bike design and size.I am very happy.Note that other sellers may only be selling the outer cable. Read carefully.

It came with a ton of little bits for any kind of setup you may need. It also comes with two cables of different length. I guess one is for front and the other for rear either brakes or derailers. I used the long one for a dropper post. Nice kit!

They give you two cables, but not enough cable housing to install both. After I installed the new rear cable and housing, there was only about a foot of cable housing remaining. Also, they give you way too many ferrules, but one of the packages that I received only had one cable end crimp.

Everything fit great, the bad review someone left about the length is probably because he tried to put the front one on the rear, I did the same thing at first. They are different lengths, obviously the front is shorter. Worked great on my bike!

The cables are too short to do both with one pack. Make sure you buy two.

It's good, looks great but very misleading. Can't speak of longevity and will update it later if color fades. The only way you can get front and rear out of this is if your current housing has bare sectional cables. Otherwise with a full run to the rear derailleur, you will only have about a foot left.

I had some cables whose drum at the end was too big for my brake handle. These cables were a perfect fit and I am pleased that the c clips and sleeve ends are also included. Great value.
