Fits my 2012 RMZ250 perfectly, doesn't touch the chain at all. The spacers it came with are metal and smaller at the top so it fits in the bolt holes for extra support. It could be a bit wider/bigger for more protection, but it's better than nothing, and it's a solid metal. It did not come with bolts though so I had to buy them at a hardware store, and had to eyeball the bolt length, but im still very pleased with this and would reccommend it.
