Incorporating this into a ROV build and as a work in progress I was only able to bench test the connector. All pins have individual continuity through the 2 components when locked together. Important to note, the connection does not appear to be water tight, water resistant but not tight. The cord end has a rubber gland that creates a water tight seal when tightened around your cable. I was able to test this function and it performed as intended, keeping the cord end of the unit dry.The connector set is very well built using mostly aluminum, with some steel, copper and rubber components. The threaded components are well machined and free of burrs, making for a very clean assembly. The female end comes with hardware to secure to a surface and a protective cap for when not in use.Overall, the connector is fine example of electrical hardware made right and reasonably priced. I recommend purchasing.

I got this for hobby projects I do which often have to have some kind of weatherproofing or water resistance, so a connector which had 7 pins and a weather rating was something I needed. So far its been easy to integrate, the pins are installed and are solder cup, so you just need to tin them and solder in your wires at the needed positions. It comes with screws for the panel mount side too. Overall doesn't seem to have an issue for me, if something changes I'll update the review
