Looks beautiful and is solid. Aligning all four legs at unique, exact angles as you connect it to the base plate requires a MIN 5 limbs to successfully orchestrate, so ask for help for that part. ;)And yes, it is QUITE tall, so get seats with at least 30' seat height, if not taller...I've installed balancer extensions to my 30' seat chairs to add about another 1.5 inches, and that seems a sweet spot.

Assembling the table takes some work, but it's definitely worth it... Much larger, taller and more quality looking than the pictures do justice. Solid table and construction for the price - highly recommend.

Beautiful table, not difficult to put together but the legs are tedious. Pretty strong, does wobble a bit due to the the legs being centered instead up holding up at the corners. It's a great table. I think it works best for home with all adults, could be too tall and dangerous for young children.

This table is very tall for a home application, make sure you purchase BAR HEIGHT stools to go with it. I grabbed what amazon suggested and COUNTER HEIGHT isn't enough unless you want to have the plate right at mouth level. also, this table is not made out of legit wood. it is made out of flake-board compressed sawdust (legs and underplate) and hard pressed cardboard (table top and base). and the funny thing is that the sawdust legs are actually heavier than if they used real 2x4's. so its cheap and heavy.

Yes it is 42 inches tall so taller chairs are most likely needed. Also directions state to place all 4 legs together then attach to top and bottom pieces but it is easier to attach one leg at a time to top pice then attach bottom piece then add tabletop. All that said the table is a great value and it looks great. We did not encounter damaged or missing parts. Handyman and helper assembled in less than 1 hour. Very happy with result. We generally push up to wall for 2 to 3 people and pull out more for 4 persons. Great table to stand up to for drinks or sit with extra tall chairs

Beautiful table with out clear instructions. Like another reviewer said, get yourself a second pair of hands to help. I learned the hard way and like my fellow reviewer said, the glue wipes the arrows off. You need a second pair of hands just to complete the first step. My legs separated a few times trying to get the legs attached to the top plate. The instructions seemed to be written by a Martian. For what it’s worth, the price is more than half off what you’d pay at a furniture store - I know because my mother has the exact same table. Not too many choices available fir a bar height table out there.

Love the table it is 42" the instructions and assembly are very good and it wasn't difficult to assemble it is not real wood it's all particale board I figured that for how cheap it was not disappointed it looks beautiful and is very sturdy comes with assembly glue I used all of it and more and it's super sturdy over all 100% pleased with it and would recommend it to anybody .

This is a really nice and heavy table. It was packaged very nice and easy to verify all the parts were enclosed. However, others have written how easy it was to put together and I going to say it can be easy if you pretty much ignore the very directions they say do exactly how we say. So I'll add a few tips here so your toes and shins ont suffer the fate of mine. First lay out the parts and identify which screws go where. Next lay the legs arrow side up a,b,c,d hand written on one of the top edges and not necessarily all on the same end. A and C lay the same way B and D the same but opposite a n c. So the alernate then glue in dowels. Btw once glue hit the arrow sticks they begin to dissolve and if you take too long u can lose track. Btw have a helper. This is the big difference to the directions. They say connect abcd and stand upright. Don't do this lie this. Take the black base glue and insert the 4 dowels then temporarily stand the legs upright on the base now glue and screw the particle board top base. Carefully flip over and secure the bottom. Do all this on the card board box they shipped it in as to not scratch. Now take the top lay it face down and overlay the base section on top and secure with 4 bolts. Your done. Trust me if you follow the directions enclosed will be at your own peril. Other than that great table. Would have been 5 stars but those directions are so stupid they had to lose something.
