I bought these with the intent of using them to clean my sewing machine. The handles are too thick to get into the small, tight spaces. The bigger brushes with the longer bristles will reach in only half way. You'd be better off using a long cotton swabs to really get into the crevices. Not a total loss - used these to loosen the dust caught around all the switches and buttons in the car. Worked nicely for the job.
