Item came in less than perfect condition. I decided to put it together nonetheless, as I figured the material from the packing foam could be removed and with time, the impressions left in the table railing would gradually go away. Assembly of the hardware was straightforward and went well. There were no problems with the hardware or placement of the screw receptacles. After mounting the foldable legs, I extended them to their locked position. In doing so, the pivoting triangle brace popped off the rivet at the leg. Also, on the triangle brace is a tab that stops the brace from extending beyond a straight line. This tab broke off, rendering the brace unusable. That, coupled with the fact that the brace came off the leg, the table is unusable. The rivets are not strong or long enough to keep everything attached. I'm not a steel worker, but it seems that heavier gaged steel, longer and stronger rivets, and larger/stronger stop tabs woul prevent this. Also, I would suggest better packaging from the factory to eliminate creating impressions in the rail, and a different material altogether that does not transfer to the item.

The table is nice, however, it took a while to clean it! The packing styrofoam literally stuck to every side, AND the holes were drilled in the wrong places! I did order a replacement but that was a pain to unpack and put the whole table together twice! It is not a light item to have to repack and haul to a UPS.
