I have a couple senior cats with gastrointestinal tract issues (flatulence and diarrhea) and decided to try Colon Rescue Herbal Support to see if it might gently do them both some good. It's an old-fashioned blend of herbs, including marshmallow, slippery elm, licorice, and plantain, all organic, so I knew it would be safe.There is almost no aroma and only a vague, sweet taste. I give it to them in their food and they don't mind it at all. I think I might be seeing some improvement. Of course, I don't know if this is due to this tincture for certain, but I am hopeful and will continue to use this product. It certainly can't hurt!

I got this colon rescue formula for my cat because she has quite a number of the issues it says it can treat. I really don't like using allopathic medicine to help her with those issues, so I'm really hoping this remedy is something we can use on a regular basis. I do have a reason to ‘paws’ When considering using this pet supplement, because I can only find two other remedies by the company at this time. Giving this to her, I just started with half the low dose recommended for cats, so 0.25 ml. We’ll build up to the best dose for her. I want to keep it simple since she’s going to take it twice per day. I find it is easiest to just give her liquid remedies out right. Thank goodness there’s not too much of a smell from this, so she took it readily. Knowing the herbs that are included, they are mostly odorless and sweet smelling. I tasted it, and it was sweet. She sniffed it and seemed to agree with me that it smells sweet. The pipette is pre-measured up to 1 mL, so I drew it ¼ of the way up..So far, no adverse reactions. She also seems to have more energy, lol…I will back off her meds a little and see if this can start to kick in. I will report back how she ‘goes’.

Herbal gut support formula for cats and dogs contains extracts of slippery elm, liquorice root, plantain leaf and marshmallow root. Nothing out of the ordinary mentioned in regard to helping to cleanse and support your pet’s colon health. My dog had a bought of diarrhea (cause unknown). Though taking a few days, i am seeing improvements. I prefer organic natural herbal remedies. Will definitely add Colon Rescue to the pet first aid kit.

This product has been helpful for my cat. The taste is sweet, and that is preferred by my cat. He seems to be helped by this tincture formula. Seems to be a competitive value when compared to similar products. I like herbal supplements for myself, and have used herbs for my pets for decades with great success.5 stars

I use this daily, mixed into my cats food. It comes with a glass stopper and the liquid is a bit on the thicker side, so I mix it with a little water and then into her food to try to make sure the flavor doesn't bother her. It appears to keep everything running smoothly.

My cats were having some problems using the bathroom and I started using this product and I mixed it up with her food and no problems but if you use it too much, they will also get diarrhea so you have to be careful. It really does work. I definitely recommend it.
