These are nice, basic folders that are made of a heavy paper stock. I really appreciate this, because the last thing the planet needs is more plastic folders. Because these are not gusseted you really can't put more than perhaps 10 pages per side before things begin to be pulled apart, but that is perfectly adequate for my purposes. There is a slot for a business card or some other identifying card in the inside pocket of the folder, but I don't see a great deal of value in that. These folders do not have tabs on them, so throwing a bunch of them in a drawer would cause you to have to remove them all to check inside for whatever they are. If you want them for filing, you'd be better off buying file folders. But for reports or school projects, or - in my case - recipes or other papers you want to have organized, these are perfectly fine. They don't have reinforced spines, they don't have pre-punched holes for binders, or any of the other features you can spend a lot more for and might never use. But if you just want a basic two-pocket folder these are just fine.
