Why children's manufacturers haven't figured out that most children have the hardest time with buttons up until they're like 7 or 8 we're not quite sure. but thank God Colombia has this all-weather hiking pant that works great for schools that have kids outdoors all the time. They are hardy, they breathe and they dry quickly. And UPF protection is a big problem. We bought 5 of these along with 5 UPF long sleeve shirts and that's our kid's summer school uniform. Pricey pants for sure and there are competitors out there for $20 less but not with the elastic ankles which are helpful if you're hiking or playing in the woods.

The item received fits our 5 year old daughter. The "sizing chart" provides sizes with a number according to normal women's sizing. The product received was ordered as Women - Small and actually is sized for a six year old child rather than an adult woman. We have grandkids so won't go to the trouble to return but are stupefied about how to order with such an incredible misrepresentation of the products.

I bought them too big I guess. They do not have belt loops or an adjustable waist so keep that in mind.

I bought these in size large. I'm 5'1", 92 lbs. I have to roll the waistband over for the best fit, but otherwise the size is right. They're also very light fabric. Not hot at all. Overall, great buy and I would purchase again.

I bought these for my self! I am 5'2", 135lbs. These are half the price of the adult pants. They fit perfectly and are comfortable. Recommend for short ladies like myself!
