Your cart is empty. Comfortbilt and Castle Heatinng Igniter Element Assembly for Pellet Stoves. The igniter is located in the base of the burnpot and starts the fire during the ignition start-up cycle. The combustion air rushing past the igniter becomes super heated which creates ignition to the pellet fuel. Any air losses or air blockages can disrupt the ignition sequence.

I bought this to have as a extra because our pellet stove is 2 years old. Haven't used it it but it is a perfect fit and I have peace of mind if ours goes out I will have a replacement that I wont have to wait on.

The item came with chipped ceramic but I installed because needed the heat. It works but don't know for how long. Ordered another one to have on hand. The item was not protected just in an envelope. I am surprised as Pellethead usually does a better job packaging.

I have two of the pellet stoves that this fits. It came in the appropriate time and it looks right. It has not been installed yet but that is on the "to-do" list as it is cooling off here. Outside of that, the price is about half of something that looks identical from the company.
