The cam gear hole is too large allowing for excess runout and inconsistent chain tension. Good Torrington bearing included. Just make sure you clean it thoroughly of contaminants before use with mineral spirits and add a little oil. It should spin smooth as silk. Crank drive gear is poorly machined at the bore and keyway is off almost a whole crank degree. Chain is way too loose for line bored blocks.

Disliked it came damaged , the bearing on the back has a damage , can’t install , now I need to wait for a replacement . Not sure how it would have been shipped damaged to me being it’s supposed to be brand new . I would be happy to do a different review . I would like to get my engine completed before June ....who knows .

You will need to have your cam thrust plate machined to use the countersunk cap screws. A machine shop did this for me for $5, which was less than the bit required to do it myself. You may also need to take a couple thousandths off the cam thrust plate for proper cam endplay.
