At first I was hesitant in using non-original product but I figured for the price it is worth it. And needed a new drum unit and bought this one bc of price and works just like original one from Brothers. I have 5 brother printers that I maintain within my office and have purchased many GALADA drums. I use my printer at the office for printing out shipping labels and tenant rent information and go through a ton of energy. So glad I did. A new name brand one is expensive as you can see you can’t go wrong. I’ve been buying third party ink toners for my brothers laser printer at a fraction of the cost and have been throughly happy with the performance. The print quality is amazing and does last a long time. Had concerns that it would not work . Received shipment took out the old and put this one in and it worked perfectly! It was easy to install, made exactly like the original drum. Great print quality and excellent value for the money. Works just like the original brothers drum kit at a fraction of the cost! So Great generic alternative to the name brand drum.I have had no problems with any of them. Works great now I don’t need a new printer or a more expensive drum from brother! This product is great for its value compared to the original part from Brother.

I wrote a bad review and then found in the instructions of a new replacement drum that the Brother count had to be reset. First I’d heard of that. Must be because using non oem parts. So be aware of reset.Bad review No longer applicable: Failed after 5 weeks of use. Just after return window. Stay away.

While it is working, since I replaced my drum for this, my printer keeps saying I need to replace my drum soon. I tried printing today and it seem to have stopped but it was quite a pain for a while. Really hope it doesn’t happen again!

We just needed a simple basic drum to work with the toner for the Brother Printer. Easy to install.
