Replaced brake shoes on 2012 Yamaha Rhino 700. Old pads, although not worn out, were very noisy. New brake shoes solved the problem.

Pads are same as any other. The design of the calipers on my Rhino is junk and the pads rarely make it more than a couple hundred miles.
