I recently used the 12-inch block burner to heat water for processing a turkey, and overall, it performed really well. The burner heated the water up incredibly fast—much quicker than I expected! It got the job done in no time, which made the whole turkey processing process much smoother and efficient.The burner itself is sturdy and powerful, easily handling the load. I was able to get the water to the ideal temperature quickly, and it maintained heat well throughout the process. For anyone who needs to process poultry or large amounts of water for any other reason, this burner will definitely get the job done.The only downside I’ve noticed is that the unit did rust a little where the water spilled over. While this didn’t affect its performance, it’s something to keep in mind if you plan on using it in a wet environment regularly. A little extra care to prevent water exposure might help avoid this issue in the future.Overall, the 12-inch block burner is a solid choice for heating large amounts of water fast. Despite the rusting issue, I’m still very happy with its performance and would recommend it for anyone looking for efficiency in their turkey processing or similar tasks.

I bought this to power the water to dye pine needles for my coiling class. This is a super unit! I connected to a small tank and used a roaster pan . I was worried that I may not be able to control the heat but that was no problem. From boil to simmer it was right at the right height. This would be great for cooking outdoor. Heat is intense but controlled, light weight portability, small packing and storage. What more could you want?

I use these to boil large pots of water for canning. Every fall the family makes pasta sauce and pickles. I bought 2 of these burners so i can run one boiling for sanitizing jars, and the second one for sealing the jars. Easy flame adjustment, and great heat output. Boils the water fast, and they are small enough to easily store away when not in use.

This is a beast! I used it in the dead of winter to pressure can outside. Worked amazing and didn’t even need it anywhere near full blast.

Wanted to get the King Cocker but was tempted buy the price. I’m really glad I got this. Plenty of heat, easy to use and seems to be very sturdy. It is a bit low on the ground but a couple of cinder blocks can solve that issue. I actually love the compact size because it is much easier to store on the shelf than the main brands.

I needed a new burner for steaming crabs and this was perfect. Extremely sturdy and more heat than needed but who knows what I may use it for in the future. I highly recommend

Bought For multi - purpose use . Melting bulk lead to cast into ingots is my primary use and it does an exceptional job for that . I really gets hot . For this to get 100,000 BTU it does use a bit more propane , but that is understandable . I am quite pleased with this purchase .

This thing puts out some serious heat. Do yourself a favor, don’t bother with those burners which put out 10k BTU. This thing is build well and should last many years, and puts out a lot of heat. It’s worth the price.
