Purchased to use with a Electro-Harmonix 6922EH. Zero issues off my Vali, no feedback that I can hear on my Sony MDR-Z7M2's or Sennheiser 660S2's. Great for the money.

This tube converter was purchased to provide compatibility for popular 6922 tubes with my Schiit Audio Vali 2++ amplifier. The product works perfectly as described and solved my Vali 2++ tube swap issue.Schiit Audio changed the tube compatibility of the Vali headphone amplifiers between the Vali 2+ and Vali 2++ models. The following tube compatibility information was verfied with the Vali amplifier manuals:Vali 2 / Vali 2+------------------uses 6DJ8, 6922, ECC88, 6N23P, and 6BZ7 tube typesVali 2++ / Vali 2++----------------------uses 6N3P, 2C51, 5670, and 396A tube typesThis change in tube compatibility is not well communicated. when I had first installed a new 6922 tube, the tube heater glowed, but no sound was output. It was only after researching how to troubleshoot tube amp output issues that I found the difference in tube compatibility.Schiit Audio does not appear to have updated the external case labeling of their Vali 2 amps, as all versions labeled Vali 2; regardless if it is a 2, 2+, or 2++. You have to look at a small sticker on the back of the unit, beside the power switch, to determine the specific Vai 2 revision. Hopefully this expanded explanation will be helpful for others.

I purchased this to change the tube type on my MHDT Orchid dac to a 6922. This piece works very well, and is well made, helping to achieve a significant improvement in the sound quality. It is fortunate that this high quality niche product is available for a modest price.

It arrived on the earlier end of the delivery estimate, came well packaged, and was exactly as described. It's actually rather nice looking on my Schiit Vali 2++, as well! One reviewer noted that the female pins are rather tight, and I would have to agree. I loosened them ever so slightly with a screwdriver, and my tube had no issues going in. Ultimately, I think I'd rather them be a smidge too tight than too loose, so I can't complain.

This product was needed for converting E88CC to 5670 tubes on my Schiit Vali 2 (latest version). With this perfectly crafted converter the E88CC tube from JJ Electronic sounds wonderful.Without this converter tube socket I would not be able to use a E88CC tube.

Not for tube rollers. No quality issues other than the female pins being way to tight.Edit: I was able to widen the pins a bit by using a screw driver and forcing them wider. They helped a lot. Product is good, just be aware that you'll need to do that.
