Cooling Towels for Neck and FaceThese towels work well, they are made of a football jersey type fabric, soft and thin with holes that let air flow.They don't last as long as the cooling towels with the water absorbing beads, but they do get cooler since water evaporates faster with these.I also like that you could keep a wet one in the included bag and use it whenever. It folds up nice and flat.

This 4-pack of towels come individually packaged with a color-coordinated mini carabiner to attach the towel in its package to your pack.They are very thin, with aeration holes throughout, but they're not cheap or flimsy. Because of this, they weigh practically nothing. The aeration holes speed in them drying.When I was on vacation in Tokyo last year, I brought a small hand towel to mop the sweat off my face; I'm taking these, as well, on my next vacation.

They also feel a little more porous, which may mean they have more surface area to retain moisture.Each towel comes with its own sealed plastic zipper pouch and a carabiner, allowing you to clip it to your clothing while hiking.The way these cooling towels work is that they need to be moist for evaporation to take place. That’s why the plastic pouch is a great addition—it keeps them sealed and damp until ready for use, while also preventing them from getting other items wet.
