If you take care of it, Corelle dishware can stay new looking for a very long time under heavy use. It's incredibly durable but also easy to clean. I once accidentally dropped a Corelle dinner plate on-edge onto a concrete floor and nothing happened! You could probably pass Corelle sets down generation to generation, if you don't lose the pieces by loaning them out to people. These City Block patterns are a great add to a retro-diner-themed kitchen in particular.

Corelle sets do not come with bread plates. These dishes filled a need. Just the right size.
