The bracket geometry could be better. The boards float a 1-1.5 inches off the wall. The board slot is not wide enough to support two 2.25" thick boards with the face pointing out. It would be nice if the board slot was at least 4.5" wide and allowed the back board to contact the wall.

Plastic holder very sturdy but the short screws that are sent with holder are not usable need longer screws.

These mounts must be for super light, non-plywood types. The screws are barely reach the drywall and cannot support the weight of my heavy (old school) cornhole boards.I’ll try longer screws.

I mounted them in a shed with exposed studs. I would have preferred that they mounted with two longer screws (one over the other) vice four so that they could be mounted directly to a stud. I had to mount another board across the studs for them to mount to. Otherwise they meet my need and expectations.

We were unable to use with our boards because the legs have a cross board that crosses in front of the hole. The space between the cross board and top of hole is not large enough to accommodate the height of the hook. The hooks feel sturdy otherwise.

I got these as a gift for my husband so his board could be up and not get ruined. The only complaint I would have is the screws it comes with are too small and will tear out of the wall.

The product looks very well made and sturdy. The issue is that the holes for the screws will not align with the standard framing in your garage. You can only get two out of the four on one side or the other into a stud. You will have to install another piece of wood across your existing framing to allow all the screws to be useful. The screws included with the kit are not useful at all without this extra 2x4 or plywood installation over your existing framing.
