They are waterproof and fairly strong. A pull string wraps the boards nicely.

I purchased these covers and the cornhole game separately because of negative reviews of covers that came with the game. Some of those reviews said those covers tore easily and were too tight. I hoped these would be better constructed and fit better than those games that came with a cover. They are! There is also a cord in the back of each to tighten the cover so it won’t fall off. I also like that there are two covers, one for each board, so that the boards can be carried separately or, if you’re a lot stronger than me, together.
