My experience with the product was great! Only downfall I had was the screws were missing to attach device to board(which human error happens) what impressed me was when reaching out to them via email. The owner of company was so fast to respond! He sent over the screws asap! I was able to use my cornhole board at Easter Sunday and impressed everyone! Super easy installation. And very accurate on regulations! The owner of the company was so great with communication and customer service! You don’t see that kind of service anymore!

On my first actual use, I accidentally lost grip of the nub. This spring is so incredibly strong that it snapped back and snapped the string off the nub.I know that there were instructions that said that it would happen, but this was a total accident. Looking back at it, I should have heeded the other reviews of people that have also had similar experiences.I don't think that the spring to retract the string should be nearly as strong, or there should be some sort of internal dampener that needs to be placed into the product that would prevent total product failure if the nub is accidentally released while retracted.I don't think I will be buying a replacement and just continue to use a tape measure moving forward. It was a cool idea, but just not practical until some changes are made in the design to prevent future failures.

Great product for accuracy in measurement every time. As some have mentioned, if you drop or let go too soon, the likelihood of breaking the end is high. I drilled a hole in the end and slid a small keyring in and attached to line. I would suggest a similar redesign in the attachment of the end piece or something else that decreases the breakage possibility. Simple fix for me, but could be frustrating for others. Overall happy after my modifications.

I got this for my family cornhole set so we would actually set them at the correct distance. Boy did it come in handy. Having a fun round of cornhole when my uncle starts playing and bragging about how he’s one of the best in his local league. Except he is overshooting almost every shot. ‘It can’t be me!’ He says. ‘The boards are too close together. Go find a tape measure!’Well no need Uncle Jack! I have installed The Regulator. 10 seconds of pulling the string out to verify regulation distance and I was vindicated, much to his chagrin. Oh how we laughed at his expense. Well worth every Penny.
