These are absolute trash! i bought 3 and because of how they are assembled, they leak from where the gas post attaches to the lid. If you don’t mind burning through your CO2 supply, go ahead, otherwise stick with your local homebrew store or buy direct online

couple of uses later I discovered that clamps aren't stainless and corrosion contaminates my beer

The lid is OK, does what it suposed to Do. However, both the oring for lid seal and the oring for ball valve tower seal are in bad shape and leaked. Those orings were poorly made and out of shape.

Location of the pressure relief is crucial. Other lids have it near the end which makes it hard to install without removeing the valve. This one is in the center which works perfect.Also this has a barbed fitting on lid where all others dont. Finally this comes with 2 clamps. Others only have 1. Only buy this one

I decided not to use hose clamps with this lid as the sediment in a secondary fermenter and the cleaning process far outweighs the benefits of them. They need to manufacture a pressure fit seal that doesn't require these clamps at all to prevent contamination. So I decided to use this without clamps and the hose seemed to stay on throughout my first carbonation for 48 hours. Although at the end the hose was stained by the beer and was very difficult to clean as well. They could have upgraded the hose and this would be a much better device. The lid, o ring seal, and co2 ball block all are top quality, not sure why they cheaped out on hosing.

I lost so much nitro because of these. I bought several. Lost a tank because At first I didn’t realize the problem then more because everyone I bought leaked. I thought I kept using the one bad one. But no they all leaked gas from the gas in side

This lid speed up nitrogenation by days. Worth it. Just be careful hooking it up. I was careless and got cold brew back flowing towards the regulator. Definitely add a check valve with this lid.
