Doesn’t stay in position when used with normal cowbell making it unusable. It’s as tight as I could make it and still happens.

It's as advertised, but the only part of it I use is the L Rod. I've been wanting a 9mm rod in this shape and this appeared to be the only way to obtain one.

I've used clamps similar to this one for years. It is well made with one exception. I found that as long as my cowbell is "in line" with the clamp itself, there is no movement of the bell when I strike it. However, if the bell is positioned at an angle and off to the centerline of the clamp, the clamp does not have enough grip on the "L" rod, which is what the cowbell is attached to and the bell tips down sideways. Now, in all fairness, this is a large 7.5-inch bell, and I tend to hit hard at times.
