I needed these to use as end caps on some cables. I ordered these particular ones based on the description of them being "heavy duty." They certainly are! I wanted to secure them by drilling a hole through them and bolting them to the cable. It was really hard to get a hole through these because the metal is so hard and thick. I say that as a compliment; these caps are tough! I would definitely order them again.

I liked the quality of the material it is made of. I use it to make necklace closures and bracelet closures. My personal issue was being able to identify the correct size. When you purchase, make sure you know you sizes because it makes a difference.

I ordered 2 of the same item, and got 2 different sizes. Hope it was just a one time mistake.

I was very excited when I first opened the envelope, they're a really nice size, good looking barrel shape but one of the end caps is missing it's top loop - and it wasn't in the little plastic baggie they all came in, so I don't think it got knocked off in transit. Did someone actually pack it that way? I'm also now a little leary about using any of the others - will the loop hold when I add a beaded string? Not sure. I'm really sorry to say but I think I have a hard time recommending this.
