So I had to buy these when I bit my metal barbell too hard during a meal and almost cracked my tooth. I have a bad habit of rubbing my teeth with them as well so this plastic version was a teeth saver. If you have a tendency to grip the bar in your front teeth you will cause the plastic to peel a little. I did this and ate spaghetti one night and it turned orange which was gross. I've only broken 1 ball by biting down on it too hard and just split in half. Its super flexible and soft so if your sore from the metal ones get these.

I’ve had my tongue pierced for 29 years. I’ve tried them all. This one is inexpensive but decent quality. It’s great in the mouth and the plastic beads are better on the teeth. The only downside is if you chew on the beads they eventually break. You get 8 of them for less then what one used to cost years ago. So when falls out when eating your not tempted to look for it later.

I’ve seen reviews where people receive them either broken or with missing pieces so I hesitated to purchase. I needed something to be delivered next day with Amazons Next Day delivery option so these were my best choice. When I got them in the mail I received them all and they were all in great shape. I unscrewed some to see if they were fragile but they were sturdy. I needed these for an upcoming surgery and couldn’t have metal in during the operation so these were perfect. I have no irritation and they went in smoothly. I also sanitized mine before inserting just in case. These are great and I can see myself wearing these more often than just because I needed to for surgery.

Arrived on time, right quantity, impressive quality.They're cheap as dirt. I honestly expected garbage but I've had two in for over a month and they haven't unscrewed and the balls have held up to a few solid chomps. Easily as good as a pair of retainers I paid $15 for at a shop.Pros:-bendy and flexible-fairly clear when in. Looks like a spit bubble to the untrained eye, I wear them at work (office job) no problem.-doesn't unscrew constantly-durable for those who still accidentally chomp their tongue ringBe gentle screwing and unscrewing them and don't over tighten. You should be fine.
