I just needed the pen because my black one ran out of ink and wouldn't work anymore. It's authentic and legit, and it is always nice to have an extra adapter around just in case

Works with my cricut explore one like the description says. This will not work with explore air machines or maker. Very easy to use. Great value. Getting harder to find explore one accessories but this was great! I used it with regular cricut pens and infusible ink pens.

I didn’t even know I could write with my cricut until I watch others on YouTube. They recommended getting this tool and I did and it made life so much easier. I have horrible handwriting and I was looking for an alternative to printing address labels on my printer as it didn’t look as nice as nicely writing addresses. With this tool I was easily able to neatly address all of my daughters birthday invitations. I love that a pen was included.

Through trial and error I’ve learned I can use different brand pens and markers in this adapter, which is a big big big cost savings. Cricut pens are outrageously priced, but the adapter itself not. It’s easy to snap this into my Cricut machine and use.

I received a Cricut Explorer not to long ago so I just had to get the pen adapter! I have nice handwriting and print, but not THAT nice! lolI like having the ability to write on projects that I'm doing without having to put them through my printer first then making sure it's lined up correctly for my Cricut. I can cut, print, and get both done fairly quick without having to second guess, ruin tons of paper, etc.It's easy to install, use, and works beautifully with the various other types of pens as well as the Cricut brand. All you do is open your Cricut Explorer One, open up the blade apparatus, remove the blade housing, insert the pen adapter with the pen inserted already and lock them into place.The adapter is made of a light weight plastic which is pretty durable, I can see that prolonged use it could possibly crack, but the cost isn't astronomical so replacing shouldn't be an issue at all.

This adaptor fitted my explore one machine and allowed me to use the scoring head I had purchased separately. I have not yet used the pen for the writing feature.
