This is my 1st Tunisian crochet project, so of course I didn't have a crochet hook long enough to begin. Didn't really want to spend a lot to start, so I found this hook. The delivery time was as expected. Like a child waiting for Christmas day, I kept checking my tracking # to see if maybe I might get an earlier delivery date. Didn't happen, so finally the delivery date arrived. My package arrived. I opened the package and my heart fluttered as I looked upon the crimson red almost 13" hook. As I looked closer, I could see that my hook was bent :(. I paused for a moment and the crimson red hook beaconed me to at least try it out before I registered a complaint. I easily created the foundation chain with it, then the 1st part of the Tunisian East stitch. The needle glided through the yarn like butter. Smooth as silk. Then the repass would be my ultimate test. The tip of the needle is sufficiently constructed to easily pick up that stitch and even find the 2nd stitch at the end of the row. So as you can see after, I began crocheting with it, that Bend was soooooooooo insignificant. I can officially say I am enthralled in my 1st Tunisian crochet project and I am loving every Beautiful stitch. I expect my completed project to bring me much joy. I gave the 4* because of the imperfection in the hook.

Just what I wanted. Can’t find these in a store. Nice and smooth. Stitch markers are a nice bonus I suppose but small and too many.
