I really like the light weight of this rifle, the looks, and how it's so easy to use. Being a CO2 rifle, you don't have to pump it, or keep loading one pellet at a time. I like the magazine, and the ability to fire off 12 shots before reloading another mag. Also the accuracy is dead on at 15 or 20 yards, and it has plenty of power for the backyard. I mounted a red dot sight on it, which makes this gun even better to shoot.

great little rifle at a great price - accurate and easy to shoot - sights work great and are dead on. My first rifle came on the sights were broke. no problem and the vender sent new a new one right away. everything is perfect and love the rifle**** turns out it is junk. Shot about 80 pellets thru it over a few months. Gas chamber is broke I guess. Put a new CO2 cartridge in and it all leaks out. Gun is now worthless. 1st gun had broke sights and now this one won't shoot. Piece of junk and I am out over 80 bucks

Read the good reviews before you read the bad ones. The good ones state mostly truth, if you follow the instructions you'll be fine, it's accurate, it's easy. The bad ones mostly complain about the rifle losing co2, or the seals blowing out and not holding any more air. The problem isn't the rifle. The problem is people not putting a drop of pellgunoil on the tip of EVERY powerlet and a drop on the threads every 250 pellets. Use the right ammo and follow the instructions for lots of fun. Very accurate. I wish Crosman would do something about the terrible rifle sights. The rear sights were unusable. I would have had to bend them myself to be usable so I removed them and fired with on the fiber optic tip left on with surprisingly good results. It fires evenly till about your 40th pellet or so then it dramatically decreases velocity. This is good. The last thing you want is a gun that starts losing velocity right away the eventually piter out in disappointment. This is probably the best pellet gun you can get for the money. BUY THE EXTRA MAGS ITS WORTH IT. I didn't. It sucks balls. I mean it's super cool. But loading 12 pellets into a mag into another mag 4 times per co2. Balls. Buy em.

4.5 stars, but ONLY because Crosman doesn't offer the 88g CO2 AirSource adapter anymore. I looked everywhere and there weren't any available until I found a paintball kit (specifically for the 1077) on an auction site - hopefully it comes as promised. Crosman would probably make tons on those now because not everyone can DIY to make upgrades or wants something the size of a paintball canister to deal with. At the very least, they could somehow make use of the space for a second canister to extend shooting before losing power. In either case, this is a perfect repeater for hours of target practice and plinking fun with what you do get. It's light (ideal for younger or slender shooters) and has the familiar plastic stock, handle, etc. and a short Dovetail rail. It takes one 12g CO2 canister that's good for 3-4 solid 12-round magazines. You can get up to 4-5 magazines on one CO2 but there'll be noticeable drop-off in power and accuracy after the third.Speaking of accuracy...you can't miss with the first three magazines! It's an absolute delight to shoot. You'll put pellets in pellet holes consistently. Some folks say they've killed squirrels with these, which I don't doubt. I would just question the humaneness of it (if it takes more than one shot). It just doesn't seem powerful enough for hunting, but it's absolutely perfect for plinking and target practice, indoors and out.If the magazine gets stuck, there's a release on either side of the Dovetail. Press the tabs down and forward, then release the magazine normally and replace the tabs.PROs:- Dead-on accurate- 12-shot repeater- Additional magazines are inexpensiveCONs:- Can't shoot more without a CO2 upgrade...and you'll want to shoot more!- Trigger is a bit stiff, but whatever. This is simply a fun, accurate air rifle that you won't want to put down. Just get the biggest box of CO2s you can...and lots and lots of pellets!

I like this rifle! No problems with it at all AND with the scope and a fully charged canister of CO2 you cannot miss! If you don't hit the tree rat in the right place the first time with this rifle - you just pull the trigger again! No barrel breaking, pumping or cocking. Just sight and pull for excellent target practice or small vermin extermination.Just remember that the number of times the rifle remains accurate is limited to the amount of gas you have left in the canister. I found that after about 20 shots the accuracy started dropping off. Apart from that caveat there is nothing wrong with this weapon. It light, easy to load and has an acceptable trigger action. I'm not sure that it would take a lot of heavy handling but if you are used to handling real weapons then you know that you should always treat a gun, of whatever kind, with a lot of respect.

I was quite excited to get my Crosman 1077 with scope. The gun looks good, feels good, the scope is quite nice. It is extremely accurate and a lot of fun but I have 2 significant disappointments that would have directed me to a different rifle maker. 1) The clip design. It won't except BBs. Well, they will accept SOME BBs while the rest fall straight through. Pellets load fine but for some reason steel BBs like to slip through the holes, so it's useless for BBs. 2) The Co2 mechanism. The positive thing is it is a safe mechanism. Unfortunately my gun wastes a vast amount of Co2, pellgun oil or no pellgun oil. When you load it, no matter how swift and crisp you penetrate and tighten down the cartridge, most of the time you have to listen to the gun hissing out the Co2. In my experience, I have often had to shoot up the cartridge right away and still end up with only 25 to 35 shots. It's unfortunate because it is a lot of fun to shoot, just kind of a hissing gas hog.
