Carnelian has long been used in many different ways. In ancient times it was used as a wax sealer because hot wax does not stick to carnelian. It has been found in other decorative pieces dating back to 1800 BC. Carnelian is found in many shades of orange up to a brown/black. These reds are due to the presence of iron in the stones. This stone is a type of quartz. Carnelian is commonly associated with the sacral chakra.
This lot of tumbled carnelian comes in a velvet bag. These bags are very handy with keeping your stones together for storage or transport. The velvet gives it an extra layer of protection from damage.

Bought two orders because I trusted the description. Absolutely not 1inch, barely even a half inch on most of the prices of carnelian. Nice color though

These carnelian stones are great. They are the perfect advertised size & i recieved 17 of them. They are tumbled stones, not polished, so there are going to be dents, cracks, & maybe some holes in them but thats normal for tumbled stones. As soon as i poured the stones out of the velvet pouch they came in i could feel a pressure in my chest, which is what happens for me personally when i use stones with strong energy thats beneficial for me. Other people might feel energy from stones differently then me though, i dont know, just my experience. Some people might not feel energy from these stones if they arent of benefit for what you personally need healing for though. If you hold a stone to or near your chest & your body moves towards the stone then it has healing powers that are benefical for you at this time. If you move backwards, back & forth, or not at all the stone wont be of much or any healing value for you. I usually have to hold stones to my body to feel even close to as much energy as i did with just dumping these out of the bag & on to the table. These are powerful stones.

Mine came to me beautiful, the proper color(as shown on the site). No pits or scratches, pretty stones for the little treasure chest I am putting together for my grand daughters Christmas present. Her jaw will hit the floor when she opens it, and I will be there to see it.

Perfectly pleasing, large crystals, beautiful colors. The picture does not do it justice they were more beautiful than I expected, it comes in a very nice drawstring bag.
