Needed a tool in a pinch on the road and ordered this along with a moog hub + penetrating oil. Did the job using the tire jack and no air tools. I do pack a good toolbox but needed this tool to access the torx hub bolts - it worked great and is a keeper.

I 6spd swapped my E38 740i and this worked perfectly to get to the weird hidden bolts that come in the two piece 420g flywheels.

I am using it to change hubs on an AWD MKX, need it to access mounting bolts behind tone ring. Works perfectly. Putting tons of torque it with a breaker bar and it's standing up to the punishment.

Can’t believe this is how Ford designed this hub assembly and blocked the studs with the abs gear. Didn’t want to risk grinding down a good T60 so I bought this. Did great but don’t forget the hub puller to push the axel back for more clearance for the bolts to thread out.

Would like to have a talk with the engineer that designed the way the Ford Edge hubs are installed... not impressed, but this tool makes it possible to get at the Torx bolts that you need to remove to get the hub out. Haven't had any problems with the tool, pretty simple, seat it properly in the torx head and everything should work.

This tool is necessary to access 4 rear wheel bearing torx head bolts. The tool length combined with a shaft slender enough to clear the abs tone ring gets it done. To allow additional clearance for manipulation of the tool, I removed the press-fit socket. The portion of the tool shaft which became exposed as a result of said socket removal is hexagonal and will accept common mechanical tools. If the repair is done with the vehicle, in this case a Ford Edge, 2009, elevated on a car lift, there is sufficient room with the socket in place. I did the repair on a garage floor, on a jack stand, which limited room for a #250....I.e. long.....torque wrench to “swing”. Removing the socket helped clear the coil springs. The torx head bolts had been in place since 2008/2009....10 years.....and I thought the slender shaft or torx “teeth” might twist or break when loosening the bolts.....there’s not a lot of contact area at male tool/female torx bolt interface and I thought the tool teeth might break. Nope. The bolts when new are torqued to 85 ft. lbs. Add 10 years of corrosion.....it took far more than 85ft.lbs. of force to break the bolts loose. The tool held up fine. I didn’t use an impact gun. I thought that might break the tool. I used muscle. Probably could have used an impact gun. The tool is of high quality.....good metallurgy. I recommend it.
