The toothed starter ring cog fit perfectly. The bolt and spacer needed for the M62 engine held the cog segment firmly. No problem breaking the vibration damper bolt loose or torqueing it back down (300 ft-lb).

Expensive but works. Worth it??? Idk I’ve gotten flywheel torqued before without using it but thought I’d give it a try. Definitely final boss and don’t have to worry about damaging any engine parts trying to hold the flywheel. Not sure when I’d use it again hope I don’t misplace it.

I’m adding pictures because there are any abs any future buyers should not worry. This screws into the bell housing with a screw and washer through the tool. I could’ve used an impact gun but a T60 and 1” breaker bar did the trick on my N54

Worked perfectly for a 2008 BMW E92 N54 6 speed manual. Comes with plenty of bolts and spacers to be used on multiple size flywheels.

I bought this for a flywheel and clutch change on an N52. It held everything in place so I could focus on hitting the torque specs correctly. I've done clutch jobs in the past without one of these and after that I cannot recommend it enough.
