DEAD! Didn't even last 9 months!

I received the bulb and had a friend take the projector down because I am handicapped and he couldnt come for 3 weeks and I put the new bulb in as I can still move my hands and it worked for just 2 weeks and now it flickers .

Took a little bit to figure out the Acer cover needed to slide over rather than just pry on it. But the rest of the installation was easy.I'll update as time goes on. My first bulb lasted 4945 hours (8 years)Update: this bulb lasted 2 years.

Very unhappy with this bulb. After receiving and installing it, I observed two large blotches being projected on the screen. Within 3 months, I noticed major flickering and color changes. Installed in Viewsonic PJD7820
