It's hard to find a nice top-stub checkbook cover. I wish they had pink but the red is nice. The quality exceeded my expectations.

I have been dealing with a plastic cover for a number of years now, as I never was able to get a new one when I ordered checks. Finally it hit me to check Amazon, as they have everything, and Bingo. So now I have a great red leather cover that will never wear out. Happiness is......

I about *@(# when I got checks for my new account with BoA! Spiral bound with tabs? So big they'll never fit in my old checkbook cover? Crap! Eventually I thought "Amazon"! And I found this. It was more than I wanted to spend, is a pretty ugly red, but better than brown or black. There's nothing exciting about it, frankly, except that it holds my stupid, new, oversized pad of checks. And that's what I needed. So, yeah!

Leather is nice and appears sturdy enough to last till my funds run dry (hopefully never). Great for those top stub checks.
