I bought this for my 2024 Cub Cadet Ultima zt1. Some say you have to pull the deck but you don't if you have car ramps. Fits pretty snug. Probably as snug as it can fit being on the shaped deck that it is. Blades cut great and everything works. Don't really understand the bad hype. Thanks

Several good YouTube videos on how to pull off the deck. Fairly easy install. Yes, the blades have paint on them but you don't need to scrape or grind it off. They do a very good job mulching. I will concur with others that wrote about the grass getting stuck around the plastic chute cover. But it's no big deal to clean it out after a mow. The screw/knob thing holding the retainer comes off easily to remove the chute cover.One thing to keep in mind is that you don't want to let grass get too long or else you'll have a lot of rows of cut grass. it's best to keep up on the lawn so that you're cutting no more than an inch or two. It's a good mulch system but it can't perform miracles if you're chopping 4 or 5 inches of grass.

Spent a couple of hours installing the mulching blades. I get the deck back on. All that was easy. Now the last part of the install that was supposed to be the easy part was not. The molded plug does not fit the Ultima ZT1 42in Zero Turn in any way. It hardly lined up with the secondary bolt it sits on. and then when it did, it has a huge gap at the bottom, that will most certainly allow grass through or plug up blades. Best case scenario is a modification to the plug. I can't believe they would even market this product. This should most definitely be a recall product. Or at least stop saying it fits the 42 inch.

This kit was much easier to install than expected. I didn’t have to remove the deck as the instructions stated; just put some blocks under the front so I could reach under it and switch out the blades. The plug was also easy.They worked great, just be prepared for them to create a lot of dust and small debris from the leaves. I wash it off every time I use it now. Still waiting to see how they do with the grass in the spring.

The blades are great but the cover doesn't work very well. They need to design this better so clippings don't push through as much
