I got my mixer 2 months ago. I’ve used it about 10 times so far for frosting, batter, and bread dough so far and really like it. I’ve made swiss merengue successfully and 4 dozen cupcakes at once. I also got the used-like new to save money, so all in all, a really good purchase for less than $200 compared to the ridiculously expensive kitchenaid.Now I haven’t written an amazon review in YEARS but I was REALLY impressed with customer service.The handle from the mixing bowl broke. I called cuisinart and the entire duration of the phone call was 7 mins. I didn’t have to wait on hold forever and in that time they got my info and sent me the tracking for my new bowl.I could be mad about the fact that the bowl broke at all after little use, but hey, now I’ll have 2 bowls (though one broken) to make my life easier when making cake batter and frosting back to back.

When I was in the market for a stand mixer, I was researching different brands. I noticed my daughter has this Cuisinart brand and she said it worked well for her. "That other brand" (you know the one) gave me sticker shock, so I gave this one a chance between reading the reviews and knowing someone that has it and uses it.So glad I did! No complaints from me and I have used it regularly for the last year.I have used this for cream cheese fillings, batters, and a bread dough that requires 20 + minutes of mechanical mixing.Dough hook works as expected. The mixer stays put while working the batch of dough at the required medium low to medium setting and does not walk across my counter.Same with the batter and cream cheese filling using the paddle. Whisk worked well egg whites, which is the only time I have used it.However, you will need to scrape down the sides of the bowl from time to time as the paddle does not have a built-in scraper.Over longer singular dough mixing sessions, does get warm (as expected), but does not overheat.Able to take attachments, though I have not had the opportunity to try this feature out yet.

So far I've only used it for mixing bread dough and making icing. It's quiet compared to my last stand mixer. I thought it was a good price for the size of the motor.

This mixer works well and looks good. Perfect size for my small kitchen. The removable splash collar was a good idea. All the attachments are well made. All in all I'm satisfied with this mixer.

I was initially in the market for a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, but after waiting weeks for a model I had ordered, I was unceremoniously informed by Amazon, that Kitchen Aid could not deliver. I was initially deeply disappointed.Then, not one to dwell on past mistakes, I opted instead to order a Cuisinart Stand Mixer and what a happy decision that turned out to be. The Cuisinart arrived quickly, in mint condition. It is solidly built and nicely designed and looks great on my counter top. It is very simple to use and clean and very powerful. I have used it a few times to mix bread dough, which is the primary reason I ordered it, and it does this masterfully with power to spare. I have only owned this item for a month or so, so I cannot speak to its long term durability, but so far, so good. I am very happy with my Cuisinart Stand Mixer.

Never had a stand mixer although my mom has had them for many years (but she bakes a lot more than I do). I finally decided I wanted one and looked at a lot of different models on Amazon. I actually wanted a different model & brand — mostly because of the color & it had excellent reviews…..BUT it was more than double the price of this model AND the watts were 35% LESS than this one — so I just couldn’t justify LESS power and twice+ the cost!!! Well, I could not be HAPPIER with this purchase!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MIXER! I literally pulled it out of the box, washed the accessories, read what I needed to know from the “quick start” instructions and was up and running in 1/2 hour — and made two birthday cakes. EASY-PEEZY!!! And it’s striking — a vintage look with shiny black onyx finish. It looks great out on the counter! SO HAPPY WITH THIS MIXER — of course, I’m a weekend cook and only use it for light stuff. Anxious to try the dough attachment and see how it does. Regardless, I highly recommend this mixer !

This is the first mixer I’ve ever bought. After a lot of research I’m glad I went with this one! I love it! It works really well. Looks nice, easy to use! And much more affordable than some of the others.The only thing I don’t like is it sits so low in the bowl and the mixing piece is so big you can’t put a spatula in the bowl to scrape the sides while it’s in use. You have to turn it off and lift the top out of the bowl to do so. Not a huge deal but a bit annoying sometimes.

Disappointed. Not Kitchen Aide standard or quality. Have to stop and mix and scrape by hand as attachments and bowl not a fit.

I had to wait several months before I actually posted my review on this. After much usage I find that this is definitely comparable if not better than a KitchenAid mixer. I love that the stainless steel bowl is easy to clean, the 3 different attachments provided are great, the tilt head mechanism and splash guards for the bowl are all great. I wish the dough hook was slightly longer or wider to catch all of the dough on the sides of the bowl but this small flaw is not out of the ordinary from stand mixers so I did not remove a star for that. I also found out you can adjust the dough hook by loosening a screw but who wants to do that all the time especially if I like the height where it’s at for my other attachments. Additionally, you can purchase separate attachments for the front of the stand mixer such as the pasta maker, ice cream maker, or meat grinder. I have not purchased the separate attachments but the availability of having additional functions for the mixer is without a doubt a great feature. Sturdiness combined with efficiency makes this an overall great stand mixer.

The unit is solidly constructed and is very quiet when running!EDIT: I cannot overstate how much I love this mixer! I got it at a steal from amazon warehouse because it was supposed to have scratches, but I found none on the device. I've been using it for almost a year now and it whips up whatever I throw into it. I love making breads and pastas, and anyone who makes pasta, knows how hard it can be on a machine. This machine powers through it better than any other stand mixer I've ever had. No motor strain can be felt, heard, or seen. The attachments are fantastic and I love the ingredient adding spout. The attachment motor on the front is easy and intuitive to use and the ice cream bucket is a fantastic addition to this machine. Honestly I've not found any drawbacks and I will continue using this into the future. I'll keep updating as I use this fantastic machine!
