Don't get me wrong - my food processor worked well for most things without the pusher. But shredding veggies without it was just sad . . . for me, and the carrots. . . and the zukes . . . and the mighty heads of cabbage. I am happy to report that it now works well for all things because this perfect-fitting pusher has immediately restored my Cuisinart Food Processor to its former glory. It is working like new and shredding with abandon. Vegetal joy has been restored and there will now be cake.

Unless you like plastic in your food, I don't recommend it.I was thrilled when I read a review that talked about tge perfect replacement for the food processor pusher that fell victim to becoming modern art via the dishwasher heating element.The pusher arrived just in time for a recipe that was best accomplished with quite a bit of food processing, and I was relieved to have the right tool to push the food down the chute. And then the bottom of the pusher hit the blade and I had plastic in the vegetables.It was advertised as the right replacement piece for my exact model of processor, but it failed, and may have damaged my blade.

My cusinart Prep 9 food processer pusher (clear) cracked and broke. This one is white and fits just fine; it doesn't lock in place but that doesn't matter to me.

I don’t know what I did with the pusher that came with my Cusinart. I’ve had it for over 25 years. I lost the pusher about 4 years ago and have just made do. I saw something on Amazon and realized how much I missed it. It’s perfect!! Fits perfectly and works as well as the original!

As I read the description, this is supposed to fit a DLC-10C. It fits mine, but only after some minor mods.If it does not bottom out and lock in yours, take a look at the top of the cylinder under the top rim. The one I got had four small nibs that didn't quite fit in the tube. After I easily those off with a sharp hobby knife, the pusher reach to the bottom of the tube.It might also be necessary to trim back the locking "ears" in order to get the pushed to rotate and lock properly. I did this on mine before I realized I needed to trim the nibs, but I'm not sure it was really necessary.Not optimal, but much better than buying a new food processor.

The locking tabs on my old pusher had broken off in drops so the pusher didn't lock anymore. That means it was always sliding out when I would take the lid off the work bowl and rest it upside down. So I was happy to give this a try when I saw it listed. It appears to be the same size, with the same lettering in the same place, and locks into my original lid nicely. The plastic is much whiter than the plastic of the pusher it replaces, which seems to have significantly yellowed over time.Now I just have to try not to drop this one and break off these locking tabs.

Works perfectly on very old food processor. I lived with the "one-eared" pusher after dropping it and breaking off one of the ears but when another drop broke the remaining ear, it was time to do something. This replacement part does the job. Highly recommend for anyone needing to replace damaged pusher.

It is not as wide in diameter as the one that came with my DLC-7 so it wiggles quite a bit. Also, although the tabs at the top do go in easily, they do not come out as smoothly as my original; I really have to play at it so I'm tempted to shave down the left side of the tab at the outer edge a bit. It was the tabs at the top that broke off on my original so I hope the fact that with all the extra movement this one has, it won't mean it will break more easily that the original which I had for over 20 years.

Do not want to have to "make do" without it ever again. We use our Cusinart frequently and the small pusher almost as much. My teenagers do the dishes. They let our pusher fall to the bottom of the dishwasher for several loads. Of course it was by then a melted piece of white plastic you had to tip your head at just the correct angle and squint to be able to identify it. Amazon got our replacement shipped out toot sweet and we are happy again. Thank you Amazon for the wonderful service. Thank you Cusinart for such an outstanding product.Amazon got my replacement from The Wire Whisk shop, and they are pretty awesome themselves.
